At Operation Saturation, we’re committed to excellence in our operations and financial policies, to ensure that every contribution made is used effectively and transparently to saturate more communities with faith, hope, and love. Operation Saturation (OpSat) is a U.S. 501(c)3 charitable organization, and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Receipts are sent after every contribution, and annual statement statements are also provided.
We are committed to exerting every effort to honor each donor's intent, ensuring contributions accomplish the purposes for which they were given. In the unlikely event that a particular project is overfunded or must be modified, funds will be utilized in a nearby, similar project, or the donor will be personally consulted if equivalent work is not feasible. Whenever possible, we provide specific reports to donors on the use of their funds (and the results of those investments). In addition to specific per-donor reporting, we also offer regular updates to our whole community regarding work accomplished and lives changed.
U.S. dollar contributions have an outsized impact in the economies in which our work occurs, allowing for significant impact with relatively small investments.
Per-project costs noted in our fundraising efforts are designed to reflect total costs of ministry, from operations in the U.S. to direct help in South Asia, and all processes in-between. For example: If one of our projects states that it will take $30 to accomplish something in South Asia, the entire process to fundraise for, administrate, implement, and report on that item is included in the $30. This allows our infrastructure and our projects to scale up at the same rate, helping ensure long-range sustainability as an organization.
Price points for specified projects are averages based on the economies in which our teams operate. A maximum of 15% of project donations may be utilized within the U.S., covering everything from wire transfers, currency exchange, administrative and accounting infrastructure, reporting, necessary travel, and fundraising, etc. This means that 85% (or more) of every dollar donated to a particular project is spent in South Asia, to lead, grow, and serve our teams on the front lines, or to provide the tools needed to conduct their work. The only exceptions to this ratio are when a donor chooses to directly support a U.S.-based activity or staff member, or when OpSat offers a specific partnership proposal that utilizes a different ratio. Because of these scenarios, our aggregate financial statements may sometimes not work out to the 85/15 ratio.
We adhere to rigorous financial management practices, ensuring our operations meet the highest benchmarks for accountability and efficiency—in both the U.S. and in partner organization countries. This includes comprehensive financial reporting, independent audits, and a commitment to ethical stewardship of the funds entrusted to us. More information on this is available upon request, noting that many of our efforts occur in locations where hostility or opposition are prevalent.
There are thousands of communities ready to saturate and tens of thousands of workers to mobilize. Do you want to be part of it? Below are all the ways you can join us by investing in saturating the world with faith, hope, and love.
The easiest way to give right now is here online. For larger contributions, note it is more cost-effective to give via bank transfer rather than credit/debit card—though both are most welcome!
We are set up to receive non-cash contributions like stocks and bonds as well as contributions via National Christian Foundation and Fidelity Charity. Get in touch with us to get that process started.
